"A plane stranded in time."
Kitsuo is a plane inspired by East Asian cultures that is caught in a time loop. The same day repeats over and over again, unbeknownst to its inhabitants, save for the very few who see no possible way to fix it. The plane is perpetually teetering on the edge of chaos, held back only a mysterious curse cast upon the land that allows no beings to enter or leave the plane so long as the time loop is in effect. The planeswalkers on the plane are trapped, as no one can leave or enter the plane so long as the time loop is in effect.
Tsubasa Shigane, the bodyguard for the esteemed emperor of Kitsuo, is the first person to be caught in the time loop. Every day, he is forced to choose between saving his charge and saving his mother, with whichever one he does not choose dying to marauding demon forces.
Giyama is the leader of the invading demon forces, yet she too seems to be caught in this odd time loop where her victory over mankind is erased with every day in the time loop. She seeks to end the loop so that her victory may be assured, yet to do that, she may need to recruit the help of her enemies.
The Wanderer has somehow phased into the plane where no one else could, and finds herself caught in the very same time loop. Her ruptured spark is contained by the time loop curse on the plane, meaning she may have finally found a plane to call home, so long as the time loop endures. Caught between wanting to end the loop to return to Kamigawa, and to keep the loop going to finally have a permanent home, she is forced to make a decision.
Ayeshi is a powerful sorcerer on the run. They confronted a titan of unfathomable power and stole an hourglass from that titan. That hourglass was a powerful artifact that has the ability to manipulate time, and Ayeshi wanted to use this artifact to regain their immortality that they lost with the Mending. However, the titan Ayeshi stole it from pursues them now, and Ayeshi has enacted a time loop on Kitsuo so that the titan cannot enter the plane due to the curse. Now, Ayeshi must fend off the three other planeswalkers caught in the time loop if they wish to remain safe from the vengeant titan.
