Wild Blue Yonder is the sequel to the weird west set of Lorado, a world of tall tales, gunslinging wizards, tribal shamans, and fish that were REALLY THIIIIS BIG. The plane of Lorado is based on the American Wild West, american folktales, native american mythology, and american history.

Mechanics

Standoff Standoff -- As long as a player has 10 or less life, . Standoff represents the western duel. The gunfighters stand with their hands on their guns, and the time is 11:59. The townsfolk hide behind barrels. And then suddently the clock strikes noon (10 life) and all hell breaks loose. Standoff is the mechanical heart of the set, and is designed to have a slow early game and an explosive, sudden end to the second half of the game as all the creatures get more powerful and more agressive once someone hits 10 life.

Reflex Reflex -- You may cast this spell any time you could cast an instant for its reflex cost. Reflex is a kicker for flash. You an pay extra mana to get the effect at instant speed. Reflex returns from its first outing in Lorado, this time with off-color costs. The sorcery speed mode and the instant speed mode can have a different feel and different color!

Converge Converge -- where X is the number of colors of mana spent to cast this spell. Converge represents the natives of Lorado banding together to push the mana barons out of their territory.

Duel Duel-- Whenever equipped creature attacks or blocks, . Duel is the mechanic that goes on the gun equipment in Wild Blue Yonder. It is a bushido-like mechanic that punishes blocking.

All sorts of changes. Added a few uncommons for testing. Standoff, Converge, and Reflex all seem to be doing quite well.
